Mii Athlete draws a fencing blade and takes on a ready stance. A red arrow will appear in front of Mii Athlete that points either straight forwards, straight upwards, straight downwards, diagonally upwards, or diagonally downwards. Input the direction the arrow is pointing into the control stick to deal the most damage with the move; Mii Athlete will also dash in that direction when the move is used, so when using it for recovery it is best to ignore the arrow and simply input whichever direction will get Mii Athlete closer to the stage.
