It is unknown how long Skorrg's assistant had particpated in the Space Race. He was first seen when Skorrg summoned Sonic the Hedgehog and Amy Rose aboard his ship. The assistant initially appeared to be shocked to see the hedgehogs but his initial trepidation turned to determination when he shot the heroes during their attempt to escape. He then pointed his gun directly at Amy's head, forcing Sonic to take part in the race.
