Gentokuin is a character in the Fushigi Yuugi light novel, Suzaku Hi Den. He is the manager of Konan's imperial harem. Demoted by Motaiko previously, he grovelled his way and was able to reinstate his position after three years. Before he was the harem manager, he was a very respected sorcerer and was an adviser to Hotohori's father. He is sent on a mission to search for girls around Konan eligible for the imperial harem. Gentokuin is the one who finds You Houki in Seirin Village.
