Demiria was destroyed in the Great Cataclysm of 2011. Many, however, managed to escape the carnage, and formed a new nation. They immediately elected a descendant of the great Prince Riva, who had ruled Demiria for many many years, as their new ruler. The new Prince, out of honour of his predecessor took the name Riva Thunderwolf, or Riva II. In thanksgiving for the miracle, Prince Riva II proclaimed that the nation would no longer participate in war.
