Joe the Armadillo is a character who appeared as the host of "A Behind the Scenes Look at Kermit's Swamp Years," a special feature on the Kermit's Swamp Years DVD. In one of his many mishaps with the crew, he has a conflict with Bill Barretta in his trailer. He also has a habit of mistakenly calling the people he talks to "Joe", and after being corrected on their name, calling them by their real first name and then "Joe".
