The Second Battle of Acktundo was a full-scale assault by the Republic during the Der Hintergedanke Crusades. The Der Hintergedanke came out as the loser and were all but destroyed by the Republic fleet. Enraged at hearing of the incompetence of his men, and the fact that his former Master had taken both of his children, Darth Verraeter came with his own fleet to take back Acktundo.
