A Cryoship is an older generation space faring vessel that was once used to travel far distances over a long period of time. Equipped with sublight speed engines, its inhabitants are usually placed in cryogenic storage and kept alive until they reach their destination. Cryoships have seen a decline in use due to faster than light travel. Usually lower tech civilizations make use of cryoships.
