Anya (BCWW) was a young female black nexu found on an uninhabited planet in Wild Space. It is unknown how her mother got there. She was found by Miirraa Tensraka, a changeling/human who was hiding on the planet and taken in and cared for. She followed Miirraa everywhere, even into an old ship to Tatooine. She lost one of the forks in her tail when a bounty hunter shot at her, wanting her pelt.
