Argos-Class Frigates are fast and maneuverable space vessels manufactured and used by the United Galactic Alliance starting in 2594. They are defended by light energy shielding and an ablative plating which also cloaks them from enemy sensors. Argos Frigates are incredibly fast and can evade most simple homing projectiles easily. Adding to the difficulty in downing one is the ships ability to create an electromagnetic pulse which renders homing devices useless.
