Jaden was born on the upper levels of Coruscent along with his older sister Athena. His father, Kain Carrick, was born on Coruscent, unlike his mother Helena Korr, who was born on the planet Taris. Both of his parents had come from the more upper class section of their population and had met when they were both young adults. Most upper class families were known to be quite arrogant and rude, although the Carrick family were known to be very friendly and open minded.
