The R2-AG-series agromech droid was a line of agromech droids produced by Industrial Automaton that saw moderate popularity in the years prior to the start of the Clone Wars. When Industrial Automaton was forced to cancel production of its R5-series astromech droids, the company decided to reuse R5 unit shells in R2-AG and R4-series agromechs.
