Imago was a female Grey. Becoming Emperor some time prior to the Secret War, she was assassinated on the 89th of Septenary, 108, after which it was revealed that she had been replaced by an Amborotion in disguise. This discovery was singlarly responsible for the discovery of the Amborotion species, and the start of the 77 year conflict which would become known as the Secret War.
