This is the 1953-54 season of the Quebec City Junior B Hockey League, which was known as the "Association." This season the teams from Quebec City joined with the teams from the former St. Maurice Valley Junior League. There were two leagues formed - the "Association" and the "Provincial League." In late December a truce was brokered by the Montreal Canadiens. The two Junior A teams merged as the Frontenacs in the Quebec League. The Citadelles folded and withdrew from the Ontario Association.
