USS Rutledge (NCC-57295) was a New Orleans-class frigate, on active duty in Starfleet during the 24th century. For many years, her commanding officer was Captain Benjamin Maxwell. Under Maxwell's command in the 2340s, Rutledge participated in the Federation-Cardassian War. From 2348 to 2351, Ariel Elannis served as an enlisted security crewmember under Captain Maxwell.
