Academy is a planet located in Federation space. Academy is so named due to the presence of a large Starfleet Academy campus located on the planet. In 2268, the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701) was assigned to transport Professor James Atheling to the planet so he could assume the role of dean of Starfleet's College of Science.
