Constantine XI, was the last Roman Emperor on the muggle world, reigning as a member of the Palaiologean dinasty until his death in battle during the Fall of Constantinople. He was the last of the Palaiologoi to sit on the Imperial throne, and with the death of his granddaughter Eudokia, the Palaiologoi became exinct in the male line, their titles passing down to the descendents of Eudokia in the House of Anemas. His body was recovered and buried in the Imperial Crypt in Constantinople.
