An unnamed Defence Barrister defended Pierce Harris during his trial for raping Rhona Goskirk. She questioned Rhona over kissing ex-husband Paddy Kirk on the anniversary of Pierce's wife Tess's death. She also questioned Vanessa Woodfield, who admitted she lied in court when the defence barrister tied her up in knots. However, her attempts to prove Pierce was innocent were to no avail as Pierce was found guilty and sentenced to five years imprisonment.
