"Holebi", a contraction of "homoseksueel, lesbisch of biseksueel (Dutch: homosexual, lesbian or bisexual), is a term used in Dutch-speaking countries as a catch-all acronym for lesbian, gay and bisexual people, although it is usually taken to include transgender people as well. It is used in a similar manner as "LGBT or "queer" is used predominately in English-speaking and other jurisdictions to refer to subject matter regarding non-heterosexual identities and sexual orientations.
