Aethelnia is divided into 23 autonomous states (cantons), with each state having it's own flag, coat of arms, state anthem, state government and state parliament, jurisdiction, fire brigade, state taxation, and cantonal court of laws. Each canton holds a number of seats in the Federal Council of Aethelnia, (Aethelnia's Senate). (Below list is incomplete)
