Nar Kresh, more commonly known as Crucible to non-Hutts, is a planet used by the kajidics for an ongoing series of gladiatorial games that can trace their start 15,000 years into the past, all the way back to the formation of the kajidics themselves. The brainchild of Budhila Hestilic Amura, the same Hutt who came up with the kajidic concept, Nar Kresh was intended to serve as a way to cut down on inter-kajidic violence. The idea being that instead of warring with each other, the kajidics could use others to fight for them to gain prestige and influence. Although the games have been used to settle disputes, in practice it’s more common for Nar Kresh to be used for entertainment and gambling purposes.
