A Rupee is a unit of currency in a number of countries. The most well-known Rupee is the Indian Rupee, however the Rupee is also used in Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Mauritius, and the Seychelles. Two countries have a currency with a name derived from the word "rupee". These are Indonesia ("Rupiah") and the Maldives ("Rufiyah").
