Steven Goertzen (born May 26, 1984 in Stony Plain, Alberta) is a Canadian-born ice hockey winger for the National Hockey League's Carolina Hurricanes. He has also played professionally with the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets and Phoenix Coyotes, the American Hockey League's Syracuse Crunch and the ECHL's Dayton Bombers. He failed to score a point in his first 48 career games. In his 49th career game, as a member of the Phoenix Coyotes, he scored his first two career points, both assists, in a 6-3 loss to the Edmonton Oilers.
