This was the last election in which the National Democratic Party participated for two years after the party ceased to exist. This was also the last election in which the principle that the largest party in the Parliament even if it hasn't achieved the majority of seats forms the Government, in the following election to form a Government the party needs to have at least 226 seats in Parliament, if you cannot, must form coalition with another party.
