The Imperial purge was a purge launched in 167 ABY against Imperial Knights by Empress Allya Pallopides after she came to power in the Empire-in-exile with backing from the One Sith Remnant, and created the Galactic Imperium. The purge was initially successful, with eighty percent of the Knights killed. In the weeks after the initial extermination, a purge of treasonous officers loyal to the dead Emperor Wier Fel was committed. The survivors formed the Fel resistance, and fought for the Third Republic during the Second Hyperspace War.
