The Bijani House of Representatives election of 2009 took place on Sunday, March 1, 2009, to elect the 245 members of the 16th Bijani House of Representatives. The incumbent coalition government, consisting of the Liberal National Party and One Nation was defeated by the opposition, led by the Social Democatic Party.
