Following widespread destruction in Jump City after the Titan's battle with Killer Moth, the group is outlawed and are forced to go on the run. Three years later, Beats Boy has joined the government-issued team of superheroes, the Doom Patrol, who are then targeted and assassinated by the mysterious Deathstroke and his apprentice, Red X. Beast Boy then calls for a reunion of the Titans to uncover the corruption of the government and to stop Deathstroke before his devastating plot can come to fruition.
