The Ages of Chaos (refered to as the Years of Chaos in The Winds of Darkover) is a dark time period in Darkovan history. This period is definied by running eugenic program of arranged marriages to make laran gifts stronger, its age in which first Towers were built and laran wars fought with all dreads of wars such as Clingfire or Dust from bones. Towards end of age clan of Hasturs came to rise as Kings of Darkover. An end to this age came when Varsil the Good, made his compactata of banning laran weapons.
