Before Unpainted Dragons were created some specialy colored dragons were made for members. They had custom medals and the user would have to tell Quetzal one of the site admins what colour to paint it. Afterwards, CC released the Unpainted Dragon, an adoptable that looks very close to the Custom Dragons, but does not have the Custom medal . A bigger version of the Unpainted Dragon was sold for 1500 Black Bottle caps each later and that was eventually retired.
