The Black Crusader-class Anti-Starfighter Corvette was a small capital ship built by the Mikaru Corporation with the purpose of starfighter defense in mind. The ship was cheap, costing 750,000 credits as compared to other corvettes that were much more expensive. The ship was propelled by 4 Ion drives, that gave it a top speed on par with some heavy star fighters. For armament, it featured 6 heavy Laser Cannons on rotating armatures that could move and track targets in a complete 360o field of fire around it.
