Nil was an experienced Jedi Knight who was present at a Galactic Republic outpost on the planet Brentaal IV when it was attacked by the Sith Lord Kavos. Kavos single-handedly massacred the entire outpost, and defeated both Nil and another Jedi Knight, Ayesho, together in combat.
