Gohod Clif was a Trill male serving in Starfleet in the 24th century. By the early 2370s, Clif had been promoted to captain and served as commanding officer of the USS Oraidhe. Clif became a friend of Jean-Luc Picard in 2369 after the both attended a debriefing together. During their friendship, Picard soon gained the impression that Clif was "perpetually late".
