Avram was a King of Detina. He ascended to the throne upon the death of his father, King Buchan. Avram had grown up in southern Detina and was committed to ending the institution of serfdom, which was common in the north of the kingdom. Due to this position, eleven northern provinces refused to accept Avram as their king and began a war of rebellion, proclaiming Avram's cousin Grand Duke Geoffrey as their king. Instead of backing down as expected, Avram and the south fought back.
