The Maze Larva is an enemy in Final Fantasy X. It is fought in the Via Purifico under the city of Bevelle after Yuna is put on trial. They only appear in the last hallway prior to leaving the dungeon. It is similar to a normal Larva, only it is the opposite version of it. When the Maze Larva loses half its HP, it will use Watera on itself to heal, which can be quickly reversed by exploiting its weakness to Lightning. Maze Larva drop weapons with Sleeptouch and armor with Sleep Ward and/or Magic Defense +5%.
