Dane Kurtik appears in Red Tide when his son's friend Christine Tanner was murdered. He is the father of Danny Kurtik and Dane was the main suspect of the case because he was having a sexual relationship with Christine, but later was revealed that the killers were his son and his friends, Win, Hope and Andy.
