Halloween Horror Nights 23 (or Halloween Horror Nights XXIII: What Evil Has Taken Root?) was the title for Halloween Horror Nights Orlando in 2013. The year saw the return of the park wide scare-zones from Halloween Horror Nights 22. This time, however, instead of multiple horrifying factions, the Hordes consist of only Walkers from the popular TV show, The Walking Dead.
