The Republic Restoration Movement was a movement by Republic Loyalist citizens wanting to restore the old Republic. It was a continuation of the Rebellion that unsucessfully tried to overthrow the Empire. The much more powerful Confederacy of United Systems quickly demolished all traces of this rebellion. The RRM was highly organized, but its base was destroyed only two days after the Movement announced its formation.
