To the north of Thrall's base in Durotar in Warcraft III, Rexxar's forces defeated Noggrin Onetooth, a powerful kobold, to get his treasure. Rexxar looted a magical Hood of Cunning off of the kobold's corpse. A cunning and powerful warlock and geomancer, he assembled a small tribe of Kobold followers and fiercely guarded his territory from Murlocs to the north and Harpies to the east. He plotted to raid Orgrimmar and was slain by Rexxar for his treasure and the threat he posed to the land.
