Scam by: Location: Service: Profit: Loss: Cause of failure: First appearance: Other appearances: Featured in: Exotic Pets was a scam that was performed by the Eds in the episode "Dim Lit Ed." The goal of the scam was to sell fake exotic pets to the kids. The idea came to them when Eddy thought that Ed was being attacked by a snake, and when Edd told them that it was just a belt, Eddy decided to sell it as an exotic pet. This lead to them "making" more pets. The pets were just a bunch of random items put together to resemble the animal that it is supposed to be, such as an alligator made from a football. The scam was both a success and a failure because at first the kids realized that the alligator was fake (when exposed by Edd), but they later believed the Eds when they tried to sell them
