Highway 11 starts in Huntington on the Canada-United States border, where it continues into the US as Washington State Route 9. Highway 11 is 17km long. From Huntington, it goes north a little ways along Sumas Way to a junction with Highway 1. It goes north from there through two interchanges to an intersection at Gladys Avenue. Since it turned to the west for a couple hundred metres at Old Clayburn Road, It turns right to start going north again. From here, it goes north through Matsqui across the Fraser River to its end at Highway 7.
