Cloak of the Shield is a cloak with a maximum of 50 charges if fully charged that can be used to protect the wearer from physical attacks. Every charge will lower the item value by 50 gold, if the item has 26 charges, it has an item value of 1300. The cloak will provide a +5 bonus against projectiles and +1 bonus against piercing, slashing, crushing attacks. It can be used by all classes, except Kensai and wizard slayers. This item appears in Baldur's Gate, Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition and Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn.
