Northel was an Elf who hailed from Eregion and was considered to be a famous explorer. She came to live in the city of Bree and spent most of her time selling fruit and vegetables in the eastern outskirts of Bree Town Hall. Northel was also a proud warrior and served as a loyal bodyguard to Graeme Tenderlarch during the later years of the Third Age. When the War of the Ring had recently broken loose, Northel defended the Bree Town Hall when the city was under attack by the Ruffians led by Sharkey. She slew as many Ruffians that were attacking the town hall, but was among the defenders slain.
