Gondolinian armour is an armour set that can only be obtained by killing the Hill-troll chieftain, along with the Gondolinian sword. It is a strong armour set and can be repaired with Elven steel. It offers the same amount of protection as Dwarven armour, but with more than double the durability. Equipping a full suit of this armour earns the player the achievement, "Of Elder Days". It was most likely stolen by the Hill-troll chieftain during the Sack of Gondolin by Morgoth in the First Age, as many Trolls, Balrogs, and Dragons participated in that battle.
