However, the true purpose was for Hunt to convince Torres to take on a patient for her robotic limb project. After meeting with Jeff, a U.S. Army soldier currently being treated at the rehab center, Hunt transferred him to Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital for further testing, despite Torres' reservations. Despite not initially being eligible, with Jackson Avery's assistance, Jeff was able to receive the robotic leg.
