To most of the population of Step City, Morris Dancers are merely bogeymen, a bedtime story meant to make disobedient children behave. To a certain unfortunate few, the Morris Dancers are very real. The Morris are believed by most of the city to be citizens that went insane and became savage. They listened too hard, into the vibe beyond and became what they heard: nothing. They gave into their primal nature and all that was civilized and groovy was discarded. Most folks believe that Morris are no longer human. It's easier to believe they have nothing in common with the rest of humanity.
