Thindol was a little-known country on the southern coast of the Chultan Peninsula. It was full of grasslands and inhabited by Tashalans and Chultans of the Thingugh tribe, known for their swift running. Gold dwarves, kuo-toa, and yuan-ti also inhabited the region. That latter two races were at war with the dwarves.
