Pallas Izer was a female Trill active in the Federation Starfleet as a non-commissioned officer in the late 24th century. She held the grade of senior chief petty officer. Pallas was rated as a gunner's mate and was assigned to the USS Shanghai. She was married to Jonek Izer and was the mother of Birail Izer. Pallas was killed when the Shanghai was destroyed by the Breen at the Second Battle of Chin'toka in 2375. Her husband never quite forgave Starfleet for his wife's death and discouraged Birail and her sisters from joining up. (Bait and Switch: "Tinker, Doctor, Golfer, Trill")
