The Grand Legislature of the Dominion is the chief law-making body of the Interstellar Dominion. It has a membership of 1120 delegates chosen by the general population of the Dominion. The Grand Legislature is a bicameral organization. The Supreme Conclave is the upper chamber and the College of Procurators is the lower chamber. The Grand Legislature elects from its membership a Chancellor who serves as the presiding officer, chief legislator and parliamentary political leader. The Chancellor also appoints subordinate ministers to carry out official business of the Legislature. The Legislature elects three people to serve on the Troman High Council.
