POPULATION: INFO: Jackson County is located in the south surrounding the Ron River. It is often joked about being Douglas island's waste deposit center. New Karston is the largest city and county seat of Jackson County. Dillmore is located in the New Karston metro area, to the north of the big city. Windy Grove is far to the west, but located within the county.
