Barry played the Cadre team leader in David Mamet's thriller Spartan (2004, with Steven Culp, Natalia Nogulich, Chino Binamo, Matt Malloy, and Max Daniels), voiced the police dispatcher in the Bones episode Mummy in the Maze (2007, with Nathan Anderson), and portrayed Billy, the bartender in David Mamet's action film Redbelt (2008, with Mike Genovese, Matt Malloy, and Gene LeBell). In addition he served as stand-in on the Los Angeles unit for Brian De Palma's thriller The Black Dahlia (2006) and worked as regular stand-in and photo double on the drama series The Shield (2002-2008, starring Michael Jace, Jay Karnes, and Benito Martinez).
