The unnamed - and unseen - Disc Jockey played at the disco that Billy Walker took Deirdre Hunt to in August 1974. He introduced the record Band on the Run by Paul McCartney and Wings for the dancers. The character was not seen on screen, only heard, and was voiced by professional Manchester DJ Billy QT.
